"The Cold Equations’ Marilyn’s Point of View.”

The title of the story is “The Cold Equation” and it is told in third-person limited. The readers only feel and think like Barton because the story is told by his point of view. If the story would have been told by Marylin’s point of view it would be real different. One reason is because if the story was told from Marylin’s point of view we would know how she felt when she was saying her last goodbye’s to her brother and also how she felt when she talked to him. Another reason the story would be different is because we would know and more details would be embedded in the story to tell us how Marylin felt when she realized that she was going to die and never see her family again. The final reason is if it was told by Marylin point of view we would be able to understand what she is thinking and how she is feeling about the whole situation.
