Poem Analysis Paragraph

The theme of both stories, “Contents of the Dead Man’s Pocket” and “You want a social life, with friends” is never take advantage of what you have and never put the most important things in your life second. In the story “Contents of the Dead Man’s Pocket” Tom focused more on his work and the piece of paper rather than being with his wife and focusing on her. In the poem “You want a social life, with friends”, Michelangelo spent his time creating the ceiling instead of focusing on what was more important in his life, which was his social life.
